Charles P. Hardaway, 86, Fayetteville, died Dec. 8, 2005. He was born Sept. 18, 1919 in Gibson County, Tenn. He served in the United States Army in World War II.

Roger R. Richards, 73, Fayetteville, died Dec. 9, 2005. He was born Nov. 13, 1932 in Bennett County, S. D. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Porter.

Elbert Errol Langley, 69, Peachtree City, formerly of Vero Beach, Fla., died Dec. 3, 2005. He was born April 22, 1936 in Manchester, N. H., son of the late Elbert Errol Langley Sr., and the late Olive Wood Langley Ring. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Donald A. Ring. He was reared in Hampton, N. H., graduating from Winnacunnet High School, class of 1955. He served in the United States Air Force as an Airman Second Class. He was a member of the St. James Masonic Lodge #102, F&AM, Hampton. He was businessman and a private yacht captain.

Robert Merritt Mullins Jr., 53, Peachtree City, died Nov. 24, 2005. He was born Aug. 24, 1952 in Alameda, Calif. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Mullins.

Kit Griffin, 79, Fayetteville, died Nov. 26, 2005. She was born June 17, 1926 in Pleasant Hill, La. She was a member of North Fayette United Methodist Church.

Martha Denson Feagans, 87, Conyers, died Dec. 3, 2005. She was born April 24, 1918 in Carrollton, daughter of John P. and Lula W.

Clara Patterson, 78, Morrow, died Dec. 3, 2005. She was born Sept. 16, 1927 in Fayette County, daughter of the late James E. and Mamie Plunkett McElwaney. She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Patterson. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband, Thomas J. Patterson, Morrow; a daughter, Cathy and Jim Riggins, Morrow; a grandson, Levi Riggins; a brother, Felton McElwaney, Jonesboro; and a sister, Mary Lou Mask Fayetteville. Carl J. James E. Whalen, 80, Peachtree City, died Nov. 11, 2005. He was born Aug. 27, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pa. He was a retired conductor with the Redding-Conrail Railroad with 37 years of service. A memorial Mass was held at St. Matthews Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Victor Galier officiating. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Kay Whalen, Peachtree City; a son, James Whalen, Philadelphia, Pa.; a daughter, Mary Ann Colozzi, Holland, Pa.; and grandchildren, Caroline and Kevin Colozzi. Raul W. Nelson, 82, Peachtree City, died Nov. 14, 2005. He was born Aug. 6, 1923 in Duluth, Minn. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Caroline Nelson, and a daughter, Carol Ann Hood.
