Kit Griffin, 79, Fayetteville, died Nov. 26, 2005. She was born June 17, 1926 in Pleasant Hill, La. She was a member of North Fayette United Methodist Church. She spent a major part of her life babysitting and caring for children. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Doug Burrell officiating. Interment was at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Henry Griffin, Fayetteville; daughters, Shelley and Bruce Breaux, New Orleans, La., Wanda Hardin, Fayetteville, and Regina Waite, Mableton; and grandchildren, Kelley, Jamie, and Brian. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
