William Thomas Gunn, 67, Fayetteville, died Nov. 24, 2005. He was born July 7, 1938 in Spalding County, Ga. He had been a lifelong resident of Griffin, until moving to LaFayette Nursing Home five years ago. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lester and Carrie Dean Gunn, a brother, Durell Gunn, and a sister, Elizabeth Mangham. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Jim Wright and Pastor Ed Lynch officiating. Interment was at Oakhill Cemetery, Griffin. Survivors include a sister, Betty and Ralph Pollard, Brooks; nephews and nieces, Deborah and Rickey Killingsworth, Cathy and Jimmy Bunn, Mike and Connie Polk, and Steve and Robin Ward. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
