James Anthony “Jim” Jones, 59, Fayetteville, died Feb. 4, 2006. He was born Aug. 15, 1946 in Fulton County. He was a veteran of the United State Navy in Viet Nam.

Col. Owen E. Radcliff, 84, United States Air Force, retired, Peachtree City, died Feb. 4, 2006. He was born Jan. 31, 1922 in Santa Rosa, Calif. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with full military honors. Survivors include his wife, Kitty Radcliff, Peachtree City; children, Gail Nelson, Austin, Texas, Jan and Ray Bates, Liberty Hill, Texas, Kim and Mike Smith, Lawton, Okla., and LeeAnne and Randall Ryan, Peachtree City; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a niece, Lura Smith, Norcross. Hildy Duncan, 83, Peachtree City, formerly of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Feb. 7 2006. She was born July 17, 1922 in Germany.

Thelma Vermae Sneed, 72, Peachtree City, died Feb. 7, 2006. She was born Dec. 31, 1933 in Evensville, Tenn., daughter of the late Thomas and Mary McBroom Swafford.

Mary Hightower Lacher, 88, Fayetteville, died Feb. 9, 2006. She was born Nov. 16, 1917 in Fayette County, daughter of Benjamin and Eula McBride Hightower.

Roy Kenneth DeLoach, 57, Jonesboro, died Feb. 11, 2006. He was born July 29, 1948 in Fulton County. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina McClure. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was member of the Fayette Bible Church. Services were at the Fayette Bible Church with the Rev. Wayne Turner officiating. Interment was at Riverview Memorial Park, Smyrna, Ga. Sheldon Neil Stronach, 15, Peachtree City, died Jan. 29, 2006. He was born Sept. 15, 1990 in Tulsa, Okla. He was a freshman at McIntosh High School where he was goalie for the Junior Varsity Chief’s hockey team.

Ida B. Ferguson, Fayetteville, died Jan. 30, 2006. She was born Feb. 4, 1932 in Madison County, N. C., the fifth of six children.

William O. “Bill” James, 78, Fayetteville, died Feb. 1, 2006. He was born Jan. 3, 1928 in Ware County. He served in the United States Navy. He was a pilot at Delta Air Lines, retiring with 38 years of service. Memorial services were at Southwest Christian Church. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Julie James, Fayetteville; children, Dave James, California, Vickie James, Lawrenceville, Wes James, Fayetteville, and Jeff James, Smyrna.
