Christine Harkins, 78, Brooks, died Feb. 17, 2006. She was born Oct. 23, 1927 in Clayton County. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. Dan Roberts officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include a son, Ben D. Holloway, Snellville; daughters, Barbara Enright, Griffin, Brenda Holland, Carrollton, and Debbie Garner, Brooks; sisters, Ruby Ray and Kathleen Rodgers, both of Fayetteville, Pauline Matthews, Griffin, and Elanor Wright, Palmetto; grandchildren, Kim Smith, Karen Evett, Brandon Holloway, Mitch Garner, Christy Garner, and Kelly Garner; and seven great-grandsons.
