Barbara Peeples, 73, Fayetteville, died Feb. 11, 2006. She was born Nov. 7, 1932 in Gwinnett County. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Richard “Dick” Stewart officiating. Survivors include her husband, Dan Peeples, Fayetteville; children, Ricky and Mary Ann Peeples, Matthews, Ga., Danny and Ruth Peeples, and LeeAnn and Steve Stewart, all of Sharpsburg; a brother, Robert Porterfield, Newport News, Va.; a sister, Gail Turner, Palmetto; and grandchildren, Christie, Matthew, and Christopher. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
