Betty Anne Johnson Hewell, 76, Fayetteville, died Feb. 6, 2006. She was born Dec. 4, 1929 in Fulton County. She was a member of the last graduating class of Atlanta Girl’s High School in 1947.She was employed by First National Bank in the bookkeeping department. She was a very active member of the Downtown Atlanta Baptist Tabernacle. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Doug Burrell officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Chandler Hewell, Fayetteville; daughters, Janice E. Hewell, Albany, and Ann Hewell-Wormer, Peachtree City; and a sister, Mrs. Robert H. Lummus Jr., Marietta.
