Richard Henry Brown, 90, Peachtree City, formerly of Sun City Center, Fla., died Jan. 24, 2006. He was born Jan. 31, 1915 in Hartford S. C. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Esther Mae Brown. He was veteran of World War II and earned four bronze stars. He was an engineer for Stone & Webster for 35 years, where he built refineries and power plants. Memorial services will be February 12 at the First Presbyterian Church, Peachtree City. The Rev. Dr. David Miller will officiate. Survivors include son, James S. and Brenda H. Brown, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Kevin and Erica Brown, Peachtree City; and a sister, Helen Kern, Wichita Kan. Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City. National Cremation Society handled the arrangements.
