Thelma Vermae Sneed, 72, Peachtree City, died Feb. 7, 2006. She was born Dec. 31, 1933 in Evensville, Tenn., daughter of the late Thomas and Mary McBroom Swafford. She had lived in Evensville and Hixson, Tenn., before moving to Peachtree City in 1996. She was a member of Line Creek Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, a school bus monitor, and enjoyed cooking and baking. Services were at the Vanderwall Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Wayne Mullins and the Rev. Bobby Carpenter officiating. Interment was at Smyrna Cemetery, Evensville, Tenn. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Eunice Sneed; a son, Richard and Melinda Sneed, Peachtree City; a granddaughter, Bethany Sneed, Dayton, Tenn.; a brother, Robert Swafford, Chattanooga, Tenn.; and sister, Mayme Swafford Sims, Soddy Daisy, Tenn., and Helen Ruth Swafford Munn, Easley, S. C. Vanderwall Funeral Home, Dayton, Tenn., was in charge.
