Ida B. Ferguson, Fayetteville, died Jan. 30, 2006. She was born Feb. 4, 1932 in Madison County, N. C., the fifth of six children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Granville Ferguson. She worked at Tom’s Foods in Columbus for 41 years. She retired as a supervisor in 1995. She loved reading love stories and watching television. Interment was at Columbus. Though she did not have children, she was especially close to a niece, whom she thought of as a daughter, Sandra Littlebear and Martin Meng, Fayetteville; their children, Amanda Meng Clem, Joshua A. Meng, Bryan A Meng, Rebecca J. Meng, Kristopher M. Sizemore, and Daniel Z. Meng; one nephew; and two nieces. Griner Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
