Virginia Shirley Ewing, 81, Fayetteville, formerly of Forest Park, died Feb. 3, 2006. She was born Sept. 12, 1924 in Belton, Anderson County, S.

Mary Lucy Williams Bray, 85, Fayetteville, died Feb. 3, 2006. She was a lifelong resident of Fayette County and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Aileen Brown Guest, 90, Peachtree City, died Jan. 21, 2006. She was born Aug. 31, 1915 in Morgan County, Tenn. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev.

Geneva Cook Haynes, 74, Peachtree City, died Jan. 21, 2006. She was born Sept. 27, 1931 in White Plains. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for many years.

Vivian Lurlene Samples, 81, Fayetteville, died Jan. 23, 2006. She was born July 17, 1924 in Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Samples.

Clifford Harold Hancock, 89, Fayetteville, died Jan. 23, 2006. He was born Sept. 16, 1916 in Huntington, W.Va. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Florence Hancock, and a brother, Buford Hancock.

Adam Warren Bernard Hill, 36, Fayetteville, died Jan. 23, 2006. He was born Oct. 30, 1969 in Broward County, Fla. He was a longtime employee of Bonnie’s Hardware Feed Store, Fayetteville, and loved all horses, especially his own horses, Strawberry and Shortcake.

Elizabeth “Bette” Pine Klein, 81, died Jan. 24, 2006. She was born Oct. 22, 1924 in Bayliss, Ill. She was preceded in death by her sons, Terry and Garry Thoreson.

Maurice H. Harbin Sr., 83, Tyrone, died Jan. 24, 2006. He was born Aug. 19, 1912 in Fulton County. He was veteran in World War II in the United States Air Force.

Ruth Elizabeth McTamney, 83, Haralson, died Jan. 14, 2006, after a long illness. She was born Feb. 1, 1922 in Germany. She had lived in Coweta County for the last 30 years and was a member of the Poplar Road Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Sharpsburg.

Vivian Staley, 92, Newnan, died Jan. 21, 2006. She was born July 12, 1913 in Coweta County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Plenty and Pearl Robinson Cole, and her husband, John Mark Staley Sr. She was retired as a dietician from the local school system.

Patricia Ochoa, 46, Tyrone, died Jan. 5, 2006. She was born March 18, 1939 in Cali, Colombia, South America. A funeral mass was at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Alvaro Avendano officiating.

Tony Yau-On Wu, 61, Fayetteville, died Jan. 8, 2006. He was born Sept. 20, 1944 in Hong Kong. He came to the United States in 1968 and was in the restaurant business.

Lansing Ford Manning, 89, Fayetteville, died Jan. 16, 2006. He was born Feb. 21, 1916 in Gray County, Tenn. He was a member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church.

Connie Mae Albrecht, 65, Fayetteville, died Jan. 17, 2006. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bud Bennett, and a sister, Joanie Bennett.

Paul E. Johnston, 88, Fayetteville, died Jan. 18, 2006. He was born Nov. 25, 1917 in Fulton County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline R.
