Vivian Lurlene Samples, 81, Fayetteville, died Jan. 23, 2006. She was born July 17, 1924 in Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Samples. She was a member of North Fayette Baptist Church. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Darrell Hayes officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include sons, Robert Samples, and Kim Wallis, both of Fayetteville, and Mark Samples, Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Luke Carter, Augusta. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
