Elnar C. Scott, Fayetteville, died Jan. 8, 2006, after a long battle with leukemia. He was born Sept. 1, 1918 in Eau Claire County, Wis. He was a veteran of World War II. He was an athlete his entire life and an avid golfer during his later years. He loved music and had a beautiful singing voice. He was a manager in the trucking industry for Ruan trucking. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. Riaz Khadem officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife Pearl Scott; sons, Robert Scott, and Philip Scott, of San Jose, Calif.; daughters, Kathryn Jenner Merritt Island, Fla., Linda Khadem Atlanta, and Jennifer Muratore, Modesto, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. login to post comments |
