Ruth Elizabeth McTamney, 83, Haralson, died Jan. 14, 2006, after a long illness. She was born Feb. 1, 1922 in Germany. She had lived in Coweta County for the last 30 years and was a member of the Poplar Road Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Sharpsburg.

A memorial services was held at the Kingdom Hall.
Survivors include a son, Brian McTamney; daughters, Karen Vellucci, Fayetteville, Ingred Molinazzi, Peachtree City, Sharon Vold, Haralson, and Sheila Collins, Senoia; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jones Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
