Geneva Cook Haynes, 74, Peachtree City, died Jan. 21, 2006. She was born Sept. 27, 1931 in White Plains. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for many years. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Doug Griffith officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband, Thomas C. Haynes, Peachtree City; sons, William Jeff and Deborah Haynes, Lanett, Ala., and Gary S. and Tonya D. Haynes, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Lacy, Lindsey, Kristy, and Crystal; and sisters, Martha and Allison Wood, Charlotte, N. C., and Pat and Ted Shipp, Marietta. Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Research. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
