Paul E. Johnston, 88, Fayetteville, died Jan. 18, 2006. He was born Nov. 25, 1917 in Fulton County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline R. Johnston, a daughter, Judith J. Robertson, and a sister, Mildred Stovall. He was a veteran of the United States Army in World War II. He was a member of the Elks Club. Graveside services were at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge. Survivors include a sister, Mary Nell Johnston, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Terry and Tina R. Nix, Fayetteville, and Brian Robertson, Duluth; and great-grandchildren, Brandon L. Nix, and Austin S. Nix, both of Fayetteville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
