Matthew B. Barker, 30, Newnan, died Nov. 15, 2005. He was born Feb. 28, 1975 in Charleston County, S.C. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Gary Horton officiating. Survivors include his mother, Linda Gunnin, Newnan; father, Kerry and Tony Barker, Eatonton; sister, Doug and René Schoolar, Peachtree City; half-brothers, Brendan Barker, and Noah Barker, both of Eatonton; grandmother, Betty Barker, Prattville, Ala.; three nephews; and one niece. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
