Benjamin R. Bobino, 69, Union City, died Nov. 12, 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond L. and Ima Bobino, Beaumont, Texas. He began his career in New York City as a model, singer and actor, but later decided to devote his life to teaching. He had 40 years of teaching experience, 24 of those in Fayette County. He taught at Huddleston Elementary from 1981 to 1989 and had been currently at Fayette Middle School for the past 15 years, teaching study skills and media production. Services were at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Justin Kollmeyer officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, Texas. Survivors include a cousin, Linda Harris, Nederland, Texas.
