James E. Whalen, 80, Peachtree City, died Nov. 11, 2005. He was born Aug. 27, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pa. He was a retired conductor with the Redding-Conrail Railroad with 37 years of service. A memorial Mass was held at St. Matthews Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Victor Galier officiating. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Kay Whalen, Peachtree City; a son, James Whalen, Philadelphia, Pa.; a daughter, Mary Ann Colozzi, Holland, Pa.; and grandchildren, Caroline and Kevin Colozzi. Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthews Catholic Church, 215 Kirkley Road, Tyrone, GA 30290. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge. login to post comments |
