Rno Estelle Roberts Kortes, 91, Senoia, died Nov. 26, 2005. She was born Aug. 22, 1914 in Bumblehook, Clayton County, Ga. She was a graduate of Fayette County High School. She was preceded in death by husbands, Jerry Hicks, who died Sept. 1, 1959 and Bert M. Kortes, who died Aug. 9, 1998. She was a member of the Senoia First Baptist Church, and a former member of Morrow Church of God. She had worked for over 30 years at Ft. Gillem, formerly the Atlanta Army Depot, Morrow. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Ted Padgett officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a daughter, Dianne and Tommy Dunn, Senoia; stepchildren, Jerry and Lena Kortes, Columbia, Tenn., Jeff and Nancy Kortes, Brunswick, Judie and Tom Ferrell, Cozad, Neb., and John and DeeDee Kortes, Savannah; a granddaughter, Angelique and Barry Stapf, Senoia; great-grandchildren, Zachery and Rhyanna Stapf and other grandchildren, Kelly, Karla, Kim Matthew, Shannon, Heather, Tommy, Mike, Mark, Megan, and Molly. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
