Clara Patterson, 78, Morrow, died Dec. 3, 2005. She was born Sept. 16, 1927 in Fayette County, daughter of the late James E. and Mamie Plunkett McElwaney. She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Patterson. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband, Thomas J. Patterson, Morrow; a daughter, Cathy and Jim Riggins, Morrow; a grandson, Levi Riggins; a brother, Felton McElwaney, Jonesboro; and a sister, Mary Lou Mask Fayetteville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
