Charles P. Hardaway, 86, Fayetteville, died Dec. 8, 2005. He was born Sept. 18, 1919 in Gibson County, Tenn. He served in the United States Army in World War II. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Wayne Turner and the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife Eunice Hardaway, Fayetteville; children, Carolyn and Bill Hillis, Brunswick, Bobbie McKee, Fayetteville, Bill Burke, Grayson, and David Burke, Medford, N. J.; a grandson, Phillip Hillis, Kissimmee, Fla., and a brother, Jim Hardaway, Little Rock, Ark. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
