Richard “Dick” Hatcher, 75, Fayetteville and Lantana, Fla., died June 8, 2006. He was reared in Palm Beach County, Fla., and was graduated from Lake Worth high School in 1948. He served in the United States Air Force in the Korean War. He was a graduate of Embry-Riddle School of Aeronautics in Miami. Doris Marriana Linda Strong, 74, Fayetteville, died May 25, 2006. She was born on Sept. 4, 1931 in Germany and was reared there. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilhelm and Anna Maria Rorig Engelhardt, and a brother, Horst Engelhardt. She became an Army wife in 1956 and her hobby was her family. She created handicrafts, and was an accomplished accordion player, vocalist, and a Master Chef. She loved St. Bernard dogs, and trained hers to become a champion.
