David E. Avera, 51, Fayetteville, died May 26, 2006. He was born Aug. 26, 1954 in Vienna, Ga. He had worked for Delta Air Lines for over 29 years. He was preceded in death by his father, David E. “Billy” Avera. Memorial visitation is at the Hollingsworth House, 200 W. Stonewall Avenue, Fayetteville on Tuesday, May 30, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 31, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. A memorial service will be at the Hollingsworth House on Wednesday at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Tom Roan officiating. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Avera; children, Holly Avera, and Michael Avera; mother, Thelma Avera; a brother, Randy Avera; parents-in-law, Murray and Amy Pritchett; a brother-in-law, Marshall Pritchett; sisters-in-law, Anna Pritchett, and Charlotte Avery; and nieces-in-law, Jessica Pritchett and Christine Cole.
