Beatrice W. Lee, 91, Lincolnton, formerly of Newnan and Augusta, died May 17, 2006. She was born Oct. 17, 1914 in Fayette County, daughter of John Thomas and Ruth Pollard Whitlock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh D. Lee. She was a former secretary for the Georgia Railroad Bank, Augusta. She was a former Sunday School teacher and WMU leader at both Hill Baptist Church, Augusta, and First Baptist Church, Newnan. Graveside services were at Oak Hill Cemetery, Newnan, with the Rev. Dr. Rosser officiating. Survivors include son, Thomas H. and Janice Lee, Lincolnton; and grandsons, John Lee, Daniel Lee, and David Lee. Memorial donations may be made to Lincolnton Baptist Church, Hill Baptist Church, Augusta, or First Baptist Church, Newnan. Beggs Funeral Home, Lincolnton, Ga., was in charge.
