Mildred Smith Gwin, 100, Fayetteville, died June 9, 2006. She was born Nov.6, 1905 in Coweta County. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 69 years, M. H. Gwin, and a daughter, Gena Flanders. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Herb Flanders and the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn. Survivors include a daughter, Ellen Gwin Nelms, Union City; a son-in-law, Frank B. Flanders Jr.; grandchildren, Frank and Milinda Flanders, and Herb and Regina Flanders, all of Williamson, and Joey and Ellen Flanders Brooks, Fayetteville; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Tolbert Smith, Atlanta; and a sister, Ursal Kirk, Cleveland, Ga.
