Larry B. Dunn, 56, Brooks, died May 15, 2006. He was born Nov. 14, 1949 in Fayette County. He was preceded in death by his father, William Dunn. He
enlisted in the United States Army at age 17 and retired in 1989 after 21 years of service. He had served in Germany for a number of those years. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Edward Lynch officiating. Interment was at Brooks Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include his mother, Mary L. Dunn; a daughter, Michelle L. and Warrant Officer Charles Peters; granddaughters, 19 month-old twins, Nicole and Leah Peters; a brother, Cecil Dunn; and a sister, Rita Nowell. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
