Mary Nell Barronton, 82, Fayetteville, died May 14, 2006. She was born July 15, 1925 in Fayette County, daughter of Thomas Grady and Emma Jane Darnell Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert Barronton. Services were at the Ford-Stewart Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dan Houston and the Rev. Don McElhanon officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son, Jerry and Kathy Barronton, Fayetteville; a sister, Betty Barber, Cedartown; grandsons, Robert and Kim Barronton, Douglasville, and Scott and Melissa Barronton, Sharpsburg; and great-grandchildren, Katie, Carey, Jacob, Maggie, and Will. Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Jonesboro, was in charge.
