Rita K. Adams, 65, Sharpsburg, died May 16, 2006. She was born Jan. 12, 1941 in Dade County, Fla. She was retired as a senior bookkeeper at Bank of Coweta. Memorial services were at St. Andrews in-the-Pines Episcopal Church with the Rev. Richard D. Brigham officiating. Survivors include her husband, James A. Adams; a sister, Frances K. Wilcox, Ocala, Fla.; a nephew, John L. Kennedy III, Seffner, Fla.; nieces, Patricia L. Gibbs, Inverness, Fla., Jackie W. Kelly, Shelbyville, Ky., and Kellie Kennedy, Miami Lakes, Fla. Memorial donations may be made to Winship Cancer Institute, 1365C Clifton Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30322. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
