J. Everett White, 71, Jonesboro, died June 13, 2006. He was born Feb. 8, 1935 in Fayette County, son of John Thomas and Ethel Lora Banks White. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Hinton Harris officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Pope White, Jonesboro; a son, Timothy Ira and Joanne White, Williamson; grandchildren, Kimberly, Bradley, Alicia, Daniel, and Ashley. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
