Catherine Stewart Young, 88, Fayetteville, formerly of College Park, died Sept. 12, 2006. She was born Dec. 17, 1917 in Cedartown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Max P. Young. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in College Park. Memorial services were at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Valdosta. Survivors include daughters, Dinah Y. Mae Sebastian, 72, Fayetteville, died Sept. 11, 2006. She was born July 11, 1934 in Crawford County, Pa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Beatrice Bloom. Bobby Ray Westbrook Sr., 74, Fayetteville, died Sept. 2, 2006. He was born May 19, 1932 in Commerce. He had served his country and was a decorated war hero. He was a member of the Jonesboro Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. He had been a member of the IBEW Local #613 for over 50 years. Graveside services were at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Jonesboro. Janice Marie Foster

Janice Marie Foster, 55, Jonesboro, died Sept. 2, 2006. She was born July 25,1951, the youngest of three children born to Robert Martin and Lois Jean Foster in Upper Darby, Pa. She had lived here until moving to Georgia in 1971. She was a Girl Scout troop leader. She had been awarded the Red Cross Medal personally by President Jimmy Carter for her efforts which saved the life of a young girl involved in a traffic accident outside her church. Earl Wilson Wolfe

Earl Wilson Wolfe, died Aug. 24, 2006. He grew up in Glenville, W. Va., and was preceded in death by his parents, Granville and Minnie Wolfe, four sisters, and one brother. He received a Professional Certificate of Social Work from West Virginia University and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pittsburg.
