Barbara “Bobbie” Wood, 85, College Park, died Sept. 9, 2006. She was born July 31, 1921 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Wood. Services were at Ramah First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. William T. Lacy and the Rev. Tom Edwards officiating. Interment was at College Park Cemetery. Survivors include daughters, Sheryl Bailey, Douglasville, and JoEddi Knox, Palmetto; a sister, Margaret “Beady” Bruce, College Park; grandchildren, Johnathan Knox, Jessica Knox, Tammi Bailey, and Charmain and Ken Ellis; and great-grandchildren, Kari and Erin Ellis. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
