Ralph Pollard, 69, Brooks, died Aug. 25, 2006. He was born April 27, 1937 in Fayette County, son of Banard Ralph and Sara Elizabeth Huckaby Pollard. He was a member of Whitewater Baptist Church. Services were at the Whitewater Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Wright officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Betty G. Pollard, Brooks; a daughter, Rhonda and Bruce Goddard, Brooks; grandchildren, Riley Goddard, Brooks, Wesley Pollard, and Elizabeth Pollard, both of Newnan; and sister, Mary Alice and Charles Thompson, Barnesville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
