Thelma Jacobs Ransom, 60, Union City, died Aug. 21, 2006. She was born Nov.16, 1945 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe A. Ransom Sr. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Joey Rainwater, and the Rev. Rick Malthie officiating. Interment was at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn. Survivors include a son, Joe and Teresa Ransom, Fairburn; a daughter, Melissa and Mike Lytle, Union City; father, Comer Jacobs, Fairburn, sisters, Ann Drummond, Fairburn, and Jane and Steve Cummings, Bowdon; and a grandson, Anthony Ransom, Fairburn. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
