Tammy Michelle Hinson, 41, Peachtree City, died Sept. 14, 2006, after a 3 week battle with cancer. She was born April 8, 1965 in East Point. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Lee Woods McAleese. She loved the children and staff at Kedron Elementary during her 10 years of service. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Interment was at Sherwood Memorial Park, Jonesboro. Survivors include her husband, James F. “Jamie” Hinson, Peachtree City; daughters, Katherine Hinson, and Kimberly Hinson, both of Peachtree City; father, Gerald E. McAleese and wife, Ann, Roswell; brother, Timothy and Margie McAleese, Gainesville; mother-in-law, Barbara A. and Walton Harbin, Senoia; and a sister-in-law, Sherry Stover and Todd Dradge, Peachtree City. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
