George Harold Storey, 77, Fayetteville, died Sept. 1, 2006. He was born Oct. 5, 1928 in Lincoln County, Tenn. He had served in the United States Army in the Korean War. He was retired in 1988 from AT&T after 39 years of service. Services were at the Neal Funeral Home chapel, Lawrenceburg, Tenn. Interment was at Freeman Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Gretchen Marston Storey, Fayetteville; daughters, Laura Beth and Mack Alexander, Charlotte, N. C., and Sheri Lynn and Fenton Hutchison III, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Christie, John, Samuel, Stacie, and Elisabeth; and a sister, Juanita and Jack Harris, Carmel, Ind. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
