Anyone know what was going on around lunchtime Friday on 54 west of Fayetteville? There were a couple of cars pulled over at least one with Florida plates.

please help me understand why what we are doing in Iraq is described as a war. we very rarely have a battle(you know, shelling, bombing, taking hills and all that stuff) with anyone , no one except us and our Iraqi friends(we really don't know whether they are friends or enemies) is wearing a uniform. i thought in WAR if some one is caught out of uniform that were tried as a spy!!

I went to advance vote on Friday at the Fayette County election office. On my way across the parking lot to vote I came across a black pickup truck with Wells Campaign signs standing up in the back of it. My first thought was: Are there ethics regulations about campaigning withing 150 feet of a poll?

He was a man who was a friend to all. He never met a person with whom he couldn't visit with and develop a repoire. He took care of his family and cared for his friends. I knew him for 20 years, and I think that his family needs the love and support of all who knew him. May God bless him and care for his loved ones

What happened to PTC Finest living at Harmony Village. When it was first opened I remember they were suppose to have PTC Police living at Harmony Rent free...before the name changed, is this not a fact anymore?

My condolences to you. I just heard of Allan's passing on to heaven. We in the Lighthouse/Providence community will miss him dearly. Knowing he is with God is a condolence to all. I post this publicly so that those who didn't know Allan will know what a loss PTC has had. He helped many troubled youth get back on the right track, and helped their parents too!!!For those that didn't know Allan, he was the best youth pastor Providence ever had, and mentored many youth, who willing listened to his infinite wisdom. He eventually pastored us all, and we are grateful that his family shared him with us.

To me, this looks like a pretty good substitute for that conservative 3rd party some of us long for. Here is how they describe themselves -

Look guys, as someone who witnessed the obliteration of the once beautiful northern side of Atlanta, the TDK extension isn’t going to help anything.

This morning just before 8:00am a small airplane crashed at the Falcon Field. The pilot ran out of runway on takeoff and crashed.

The PSC people have successfully appealed the order to stop accepting waste and clean up their facility. Just like a kid going from parent to parent until the answer given is the one he/she wants. Well it was a short trip for them to get re-opened. While I know that the people investigating PSC know how to do their job, I would still like to offer the following:

Gibson got the double whammy with a DUI and some anti-Semitic quotes. He's the guy who put together a blockbuster about Jesus, a Jew, in the original language and then goes 180 degrees and lets the hate words fly.

I stopped a local fire station this week and learned that there was only one fireman on duty. I assume that this may be well known, but it seems like a real problem to me.

Well it is Tuesday after the plant should have been shut down and it still smells...at least it did this morning. Two new trucks went in the facility last night, one was a large tanker truck with a large black steel frame weelded around it. This morning there was a new tanker truck bearing the name "Paragon" on it. Backing into the drive way and I took a picture of the guy getting out of the truck. This was about 7:50 in the a.m.

People who criticize county commissioners like Greg Dunn and Linda Wells for the county’s high legal fees in their litigation with the sheriff are barking up the wrong tree.

Southside I have met Linda Wells. I don't know her personally but I have watched her over the years and she has done a good job as commissioner. Sounds to me like you might have a personal agenda against Wells. I on the other hand don't give a rip about her personality. Only what she has done with my Tax Dollars. Yep, also watched Caldwell when she was a commissioner, she was good. I bet she is just what Tyrone needed and sounds like she is doing a good job there.

Linda Wells is by far one of the best Commissioners we have ever had. I didn't mention her before because of Length of blog. Now that you asked, she can run circles around any of the commissioner's past and present. This women knows what is going on and yea, she is getting my vote. I have watched her in action for years, she is THE BEST!
