Lightning Strikes

I understand there were a couple of houses in the county that were struck by lightings this afternon? Have you heard any reports? Thoughts and prayers to the family's. Hopefully there are no injuries and the damage was minimal.

One house burnt to the ground in our sub-division. No mention in any news sources I could find. I was amazed to see the fire department could only save the foundation. I dont know if the call came in late or if the response was delayed but I sure would like to find out. Why is this not news worthy?
