on the fewer than 6000 votes cast - I would guess closer to 3000 or 4000 will show up to vote - which is appox 3 or 4 percent of the county's population that will decide our future direction. unbelievable.

Close yes. Greg is out, so many of his die-hards and friends won't be showing up. These people voted for Linda in July. Turnout will be low and because Greg is more respected than Linda and the fact that she rode Greg's coattails on every election and issue I believe her to not be an attractive draw in this race.

Throw in the wasting of tax dollars on frivolous lawsuits, wasteful and unrealistic spending on the South Fulton Park, and just her pure nastiness and arrogance towards the "Little People" of the county will definetly take its toll on her numbers. Then on top of the massive assault against our sheriffs department during a time when our county is at war with the predator ghetto thugs she really hits a raw nerve. Most of the citizens of this county (except UC) support and appreciate the efforts of our law enforcement community and don't appreciate them being attacked by the "Gang of Three". Heck...even Peter has shut up and pulled away from her. Jack being the safe and untarnished candidate he is will benefit his side by 4% - 5%.

Without getting long winded...... I give Jack the edge with the Blog Bully Lion's prediction of:
