He added, "... but speech, conduct, love, faith, purity, show yourself an example of those who believe" (1 Timothy 4:12). That's as good advice as any I could give the graduating seniors of 2002.

Sacred vows, sacred cows: Catholics and gays
By DANIEL L. WEISS

Everyone's talking about the crisis in the Catholic Church. What about the crisis in the media? Specifically, how can liberal journalists roundly condemn the Church without harming their sacred cow: homosexuality?

Note: In trying to expand my writing styles I have been reading outside of my normal literary repertoire (yeah, like I have one). I wrote this shortly after reading a couple of "Romance" novels, not to mention too many visits to McDonald's.

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

For little emergencies, use Fayette's 'little' ER

They acted swiftly, competently and professionally to meet my husband's immediate needs.

To 'half-truths, lies,' some reasoned responses

How can Mayor Brown complain about letters?

Regarding [the] letter to the editor in The Citizen from Craig C. McAuley, of Haslett, Mich., in support of the Tennis Center and The Peachtree City Development Authority:
