For the vets, let's all fly the flag Memorial Day As commander of Peachtree City VFW Post 9949, I urge the residents of Peachtree City and Fayette County to display the flag on Memorial Day in memory of all those that served this great country of ours. The veteran may have served in combat or in the military forces anywhere, but [let us] pay tribute to them for all the wars and time that the men and women gave so that we today live in the manner that we have for once and all. Let's show the state and the youth of this community what we think of the veterans. It doesn't make any difference the size of the flag but that your home displays and honors a veteran by the flag itself.
