Jim Hollis will speak at Bethany tonight

Jim Hollis, founder and director of ProActive Evangelism Ministries, will give a special program at Bethany United Methodist Church Wednesday, May 22, from 6:30-9 p.m. The program will follow the Wednesday evening dinner at 6 p.m. For more information, call the church, 770-964-6992 or 770-964-6999. Habitat for Humanity sets yard sale Saturday

The Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity will have a yard sale Saturday, May 25, from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., at Old Fire Station No. 7, 170 Flint River Rd. in Jonesboro. Many items will be available, including clothing, furnishings, appliances, toys and antiques.

Body of Christ Christian moves to College Park

The Body of Christ Christian Church has a new name and a new location. Formerly on Kenwood Rd. in Fayetteville, the new church is at 3650 Flat Shoals Rd. (corner of Flat Shoals and Buffington), College Park, just off exit 66 on I-85. The new name is The Body of Christ Church International. The first service in the new location will be Sunday, May 26, at 9:30 a.m. A nursery and children's ministry will be available. For more information, call 404-763-1700.

Rolling Hills' McAbee reports on Ukraine visit

Pastor Wallace McAbee of Rolling Hills Baptist Church will give a report to the congregation Wednesday, May 29, at 6:30 p.m., on his recent trip to the Ukraine. McAbee returned May 8 from a visit to the former Soviet Republic and will share photos and reports on the work Rolling Hills is doing with orphanages, hospitals and churches there. National Heights taking registration for summer camp

National Heights Baptist Church will offer a summer camp for children in grades K5 through fifth grade beginning May 28 and continuing through Aug. 9. Hopewell UMC to host Chicken-barbecue June 8

Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will have a "chicken-que" Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. A $6 donation will buy a chicken dinner, including half a chicken (barbecued), baked beans, cole slaw, bread and iced tea. Hopewell is on Jenkins Rd. in Tyrone, across from Sandy Creek High School.

Coweta singles will hear fitness trainer June 21

Jim Christian, fitness trainer for Gold's Gym, will offer a "Summer Get-in-Shape" seminar for the Singles Vision group at Crossroads Baptist Church in Coweta County, Friday, June 21, at 7:30 p.m. in Room 208. Christian will speak on the five basic principles of strength training as well as the myths associated with shaping up through Christ-centered curriculum. Those attending are asked to bring their favorite "healthy" snack and a $2 cover charge. Childcare will be provided. Single Vision is a group for single persons age 30 and older.
