LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Wheat flailing for issues in race against Dunn

I wasn't surprised when I read the results of a poll of the entire metro area which showed that Fayette County residents ranked our schools, acceptance of diversity and other areas highly. We have a wonderful community and have much to be proud of.

Internet reader on Jim Watson: 'He's guilty'

I am from the Fayetteville area and have been following [the murder trial of Jim Watson] from day one. I have recently moved to Florida and I am so thankful for the Internet so that I can continue to follow this story.

How about 'Jim Watson is innocent until proven guilty'?

In response to Lynn Williams' letter about Jim Watson trial:

Mayor: Current problems show accountability need

After grinding through former Mayor Lenox's "I'm gonna sue you guys" letter of June 12 and the contrast of hearing Bishop Holloway speak at a Christian men's breakfast the following Saturday, I will conclude that I am weak. I think that it is constructive to admit that I am susceptible to doing the wrong thing. I could not be completely honest without saying that the easy way out looks good at times.

Why does ex-mayor think PTC can't run without him?

Why does Bob Lenox think the City of Peachtree City can't function without his input? His title is not mayor in remission; it is private citizen.

Problem may lie with egos of current PTC Council members

I must say that I have read this paper for many years. I have been outraged by some of the antics of our elected officials, but never so much as to be moved to write this paper my opinion. I am now so moved.

Squire Bob, let it go!

In keeping with your exceptional analogy outlining the sore losers, the Peachtree City aristocracy and the outs (shadow government), I must reply to Squire [Bob] Lenox and his letter delivered to City Hall on behalf of all us citizens.
