Fayetteville Christian joins in Habitat for Humanity project

Members of Fayetteville Christian Church have joined congregations of six other churches in the south metro area to pay for and construct a Habitat for Humanity house for a needy family in College Park.

As of June 5, over $37,000 had been raised toward the $50,000 goal. Fayetteville Christian has contributed $11,400 toward that goal.

The home will be constructed July 13-27 from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day, except Sunday.

A groundbreaking ceremony and prayer time are scheduled for July 13 at 7 a.m. Those who would like to help in the project may sign up at the church. Fayetteville Christian is at New Hope and Hickory roads in Fayetteville.
