In one week, I am
off to Uganda in East Africa. Sir Winston Churchill once referred to
Uganda as the pearl of Africa because of its vast, lush beauty. Uganda
is indeed beautiful, but even more are its people. They have the sweetest
voices and some of the most willing attitudes.

the King breaks ground for new sanctuary in Coweta
After nearly six
years as a congregation in Peachtree City, Christ the King Charismatic
Episcopal church has broken ground for a new sanctuary on 11.5 acres
on Ga. Hwy. 34 in Coweta County.

the south metro area to pay for and construct a Habitat for Humanity
house for a needy family in College Park.

United Methodist Church will have its annual Sunshine Vacation Bible
School for handicapped adults Monday through Friday evenings, June 24-28,
with the theme of "God's Great Gallery."
