He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn "Kitty" Rivers. Graveside services were at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery, Fayetteville. Gene W. Nash Sr.Gene W. Nash Sr., 65, Senoia, died June 15, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gladys Nash. He had worked for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier for 37 years. Graveside services were at the College Park Cemetery with Elder Tom Ragan officiating. R. V. Dooley GreeneR. V. Dooley Greene, 92, Senoia, died June 16, 2008. She was born Jan. 17, 1916 in Haralson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Franklin and Essie Evangaline Davis Dooley, her husband of 63 years, Elmer Greene, in 2002, and several brothers and sisters. She spent her life giving and helping others and the most important things in her life were her faith in God and family. She was a special aunt to many and an excellent cook, seamstress and gardener. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Senoia. Services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Phil Bevel officiating. James Aaron BrownJames Aaron Brown, 76, Williamson, died June 16, 2008. He grew up in the Red Oak community, where he loved to work on and race cars. He had a love for Nascar Racing. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Willie Paul CogginWillie Paul Coggin, 89, Newnan, died June 17, 2008. He was born Jan. 7, 1919 in Coweta County, one of nine children. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Manning and Lillian West Coggin. He was a veteran of World War II in the Army in Corps. He was retired as a ramp service agent for Eastern Airlines. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Elks. He was a member for many years of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, David Mangham. He served in the United States Navy in World War II. Mamie Evelyn ParrottMamie Evelyn Parrott, Fayetteville, died June 5, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Ida Mae Fuller, her husband, James Parrott Sr., a brother, Franklin Fuller, and granddaughters, Wendy Cox and Crystal Williams. She was a faithful member of Fayetteville Christian Church and a member of the Builders Sunday School class, as well as the Prayer and Share group. Services were at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Dan Roberts officiating. Interment was at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Jack King, Fayetteville; sons, David King, and Barry King, both of Fayetteville; and a brother, Paul and Dot Meier, McDonough.
