BRUCE JERRRRRDAN: what can be said besides a big DUH? The whole Little League fiasco reeks of unbridled arrogance and pure stupidity. First, let's address the obvious: Fayette Co ANythings have no jurisdiction in other states like TN. Most states also restrict even those with concealed-carry permits to the point that you cannot have a handgun at any sporting event. So what the hell were we-paid-for-these-cops-to-go-to-TN doing? Standing around looking tough? TN should have booted them out. The whole situation is ridiculous and quite a waste of taxpayer money. Go fly in your helicopter somewhere else Bruce, you grandstanding "Lt. Col."

We are looking to move from CT to the Fayetteville area in the spring. I'm looking for some info on good subdivision choices(middle priced)as well as differences, both pro and con to Fayetteville vs Newnan areas.

Will try to be decent but critical where needed. Am open to correction when necessary.

Now we debate over God's race and over Jesus' race.

I have been very vocal as of late about the "wonderful" Sheriff Johnson. Now it seems that things are beginning to come to light with the Bruce incident. Maybe something will be done to stop the abuse of power that Randall Johnson has been doing for 20 years.

Did anyone else see the FOX 5 NEWS report this evening? Fayette Co. Sheriff's Investigator Lt. Col. Bruce Jordan was the subject of a Channel 5 I-Team investigation.

Yet another Harold Logsdon lie has been exposed. It was Logsdon who was trying to force the city’s hand on hooking Senoia onto our sewer. He said the Water and Sewer Authority was in financial distress. He had backroom meetings with Senoia, WASA and his developer friends on the issue.

Riddle me this, when did strong beliefs and passionate views require name calling and negativity to make your point?

I admit that when I read a nasty name calling posting, I feel the need to respond in kind.

TDK and this new connector from Fayette to Clayton are just the beginning of the new outer loop project. I have worked in the construction industry for many years now and have heard many proposals for the loop. Originally it was to stretch from Riverside Drive on the Northside around to Campcreek Pkwy then connect bac to I-85 then through Union City then to Antioch Road.

The commissioners in FAYETTE COUNTY voted not to have regional Xpress Coach Service operate in their county. This of course would reduce the number commuters driving alone everyday crowding their arterial roads.

The developer crowd is terrified of Steve Brown. It’s evolving into some kind of mental disorder with Robert W. Morgan and Pandora. Just because they keep screwing things up like the development authority corruption, buying dumps from their friends with our tax dollars, ultra-high density projects, our sewer into Coweta, etc. they get angry for being exposed. These desperate people get anxious because their over bloated financial future is at stake.

Don't feel bad...I had to ask a mechanic friend. Evidently, it is a way for tractor trailer trucks to brake by backing down the engine.

AJC’s Wooten Hit Home Run on High Density Development(again)

I’ll admit it right off the bat, I’ve never been a big fan of the AJC’s token conservative Jim Wooten. His usual column is full of bullet points and no serious commentary. However, Wooten is lighting a fire on the high density development issue and we need to pay attention to what he’s got to say.

It was reported, just two to three weeks ago, that Richard Hobbs had resigned as a member of the Fayette Board of Elections.

My parents and I have suffered enough due to the EPD and the EPA not doing their jobs of protecting the citizens from toxic waste chemicals. I make a move that we remove the EPD officials that are responsible for this senseless neglect of their duty.

Ten reasons to dump Harold Logsdon:

1.Broken tax/budget pledges. Your higher fees and taxes mean you pay 30% more. He has difficulty telling the truth.

This is totally ridiculous. A warrant was issued for a man already in jail? Don't they crosscheck using a computer with a database before issuing these? Seems so, so noone would get hurt. Who gets shot next? A child? Who does these things? Then after the deputy fired, because he felt so threatened, he went over to check on the dogs well-being. Well, if he felt so threatened why did he go near the dog a second time? So he could shoot a second time?

I’m so sick of listening to people bash the TDK extension. Who cares if the road is going to produce ten of thousands of cars on our roads? People have to live somewhere.

Now is the time for the people of PTC to band together and return our city to a planned community. This can only happen with participation.

I run several listservers for Attorneys. We use them to discuss new laws and matters that are of interest to us.

Its a great way to communicate and to keep the thread going, and to make it understandable.

As I mentioned in some other posts, I am interested in thinking out loud with some of you on the issue of racism and race relations. I would love to see a lively and honest discussion on the part of people of good will--even people of good will who disagree.

Prejudice is learned from experiences by individuals over time. A person or group of people are prejudged by the actions of the past.

I wish the people who responded would but that effort in helping us get little league at Duncan Park in the City of Fairburn. We have asked whites to join us but they prefer to take there kids to Tyrone, PTC and Douglasville.
