What happened to all the blogs about how terrible Lynn Westmoreland is and how we should (or should not) vote for his Democratic opponent?

Yesterday Flat Rock decided to ban all dixie outfitters shirts because a few African American kids were crying about one the shirts. Parents were angry and wanted to stand up for their childrens rights.

I have always been interested in the psychology of "schadenfreude" (German for "pleasure taken from someone else's misfortune"). I suppose one could get theological with this, and ascribe it to our fallen nature. It certainly seems to be rooted in evil tendencies, as there is no LOGICAL reason someone would be happy someone else is experiencing misfortune.

The new City of McIntosh, which Fayette County is making a reality in the next couple of years by buildng the highway "aorta" that will literally supply life to this creation, is an amazing example of one community appropriating another's national reputation and value.

Just an observation here regarding lawaboveall's statement that we're "letting those who are only interested in lining their own pockets and granting favors to friends rule (our) government." This is yet another unchallenged allegation that a mayor, councilman, county commissioner, representative or senator is illegally accepting money in order to approve development.
