Has anyone at the newspaper asked to see wether Bruce Jordan reported for work? Is he going to file a court suit and has the sheriff finished his review?

Just wondering how it feels to be back in uniform... tan isn't your best color... sorry...
Heard you were out sick last week? It's probably because you've gotten a taste of your own medicine...hope you feel better soon!

I heard he was a no show. Can anyone confirm that?

I've heard that he was supposed to report for the evening duty. I haven't confirmed this and I haven't checked to see if he actually reported for work. I also heard that there is more coming down the tube. If what I heard is true, he's got a lot of "splainin" to do. Stay tuned for the follow-up to the news station's investigation.

He can start with why Whitewater HS had a new 'Gator' (or two) and a few extra golf carts courtesy of the Sherrif's office but none of the other schools got a 'Gator'. I suspect since his son goes to school there it was for 'Safety' reasons. They may have used it to avoid hostile little league baseball players in case they were attacked!

If this is true as you stated, I hope the school returns this items to the Sheriff’s dept, I certainly don't want them. I do understand all the schools in the county receive similar donations from the drug funds.

Not to worry Cat - it certainly isn't the fault of Whitewater. I am sure they all thought it was just fine for BJ to get them a Gator- actually - many of us think that would be a better use of money than the 'little league' fiasco. Congrats on the Westlake win Friday ...they are screaming 'bad officials cost them the game' on their blogs and web pages. That's what Starr's Mill said about their game...maybe it's payback for Westlake...either way...they lost! Go Pats!

BJ was barely out the door before the Sheriff's office righted the wrong at WHS. The Gator and the extra golf cart, which belonged to the Sheriff's office, not the school, are no longer at the school.

Every high school in Fayette County has a golf cart. But those are paid for by the Board of Education, not the Sheriff's budget (drug funds or otherwise).

Yes they are very, very busy at the SO. Everyone just running around making everything just so so. Ya know 20 + years is a lot to make just so so. Beside there are all the things comming out you have forgot about. You can't remember everything now can you. Three weeks now and we don't hear anything, by Christmas you'll be in charge again. Ha Ha

I hope Fox 5 doesn't let this die. We sould all like to hear more. I also hope Bruce and friends clean up their act when their drug bust go sour. I was outside Publix with many others, when they opened fire on a drug dealer in the parking lot. They then had a high speed chase down 74 which ended in a terrible wreck and innocent people got hurt. This Rambo type action is dangerous and careless. Bruce, go be macho some pleace else. What if you had shot someone's child?

Maybe he could work as a School Resourse Officer. Then he could protect the team using Sheriff's Department money and it would be legal.

That was funny suzieb! Oh, as for every school in the county having a golf cart paid for by the county or the board of education - nope- sorry. The only golf carts are those purchased by the school (booster clubs, parking funds, etc.) and those purchased for the school resource officers (which are indeed paid for by the sherrif's office). As for Gators - they are much more expensive that the used carts boosters buy and I was told they were returned when the story hit the press. Poor Bruce..... now he's an 'indian giver' too!
