SAVE PTC

Now is the time for the people of PTC to band together and return our city to a planned community. This can only happen with participation. It does not matter what Brown said, did or thinks. He is no longer mayor. We need to focus energy to Logsdon. Let us remember the start of our current situation was forced through by Mayor Lennox. Mayor Brown was in over his head and most people realized this. The strange thing is when all past mayors gang up on one candidate like they did on the behalf of Logsdon. Most of the past mayors are either developers or friends to the developers. Is there no wonder why Logsdon now is force feeding his agenda? He is beholding to the people who got him to city hall. We need to start watch dog groups and report anytime something harmful is brewing. The groups need to bring this to the public attention. The groups need to put problems in writing for public view. The groups need to flood the mayor with meeting requests, council requests, and massive documents for his staff to review. Basically he needs to be overwhelmed to realize he should represent his city and not the developers on every issue. I am looking for people with fresh ideas to attack these problems and those who would like to take the first step to take our city back to what it needs to be. A planned community.

Give us break! Brown was in "over his head." He kept telling us what was going to happen and no one did a darn thing to help him. Now all of you clowns that voted Logsdon into office are getting exactly what you paid for and rightly so.

Did you know that Bob Lenox and Fred Brown are working on a way to raise the mayor's salary? This was introduced at the city council annual workshop this year. So see, it really does pay to help the bad guys.

First of all I did not state in my views who I voted for in the past election. Don't assume that from my text that I voted for Logsdon. I voted for Brown because he was honest and the better choice of the two.
Brown was in over his head regardless of how much you supported him or his ideas. It does not matter if he was able to identify the problem. It does not matter if he was able to articulate the problem. What does matter is he could not motivate the necessary support to lead. Since he held the top post for the city then he needed to be a leader. He failed in this area so therefore I stand by my statement that he was in over his head. It was his job to figure how to motivate the city instead of waiting to see who would do a darn thing to help him out as you suggested. A lot of people can identify problems but fewer people can lead.
Last, no I did not know that a raise was proposed by Lennox and Brown. This is the type of thing that I felt should be exposed. A watch group could expose things of this nature and question why he should receive a pay raise. As you stated in your response no one did a darn thing to help Brown stop the current situation but now you can do a darn thing about the pay proposal. Speak up at the next council meeting. Help recruit people that are interested in working on the behalf of our city. Basically find the people who will do a darn thing for the city instead of complain.
